Why Cortex

Agents do not fail by forgetting. They fail by filling every gap with something plausible, and you cannot tell which half of the advice was built on air.

  • What your agent needs is somewhere else. Last week's chat, a PDF, your notes. It can't see any of it, so it guesses.
  • Nothing marks what stopped being true. An old fact looks exactly like a current one, so it gets used as if it still holds.
  • What it remembers, you can't see. Memory writes itself in the background, so you can't check it or correct it.

    Hi,

    We're all wrapped up, and the kitchen looks great. Thanks for hanging in through the tile delay.

    Final invoice is attached. Balance is $6,900, due January 42. Our workmanship is warrantied for a year from today3, so call me if anything comes up.

    The fridge (Norrland NR-36FD, serial 4471-0928)4 and dishwasher (Kestrel DW-24S)6 went in this morning, and both have the maker's 2 year warranty57 from install. Registration cards are in the drawer by the oven8.

    We left two spare boxes of the Fjord White tile in the garage, lot 22-04179, in case you ever need to match it. Cabinet paint is Studio Green in eggshell10. Grout should be resealed in about a year11.

    Final inspection passed on the 16th, permit BP-26-331812.
